Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and the control you have over your data. We don't sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Profile information: nickname, photo, contact preference, and optional details you choose to add.
- League data: your division, handicap, matches, scores, chat messages, and standings.
- Usage data: basic technical information (device, browser, pages viewed) used to keep the service reliable and secure.
2. How we use it
- To run leagues — schedules, standings, stats, notifications, and coordination between players.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- To communicate with you about your account, matches, and service updates.
3. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising. Public league pages only show what a league chooses to make public — never your email or phone number.
4. Sharing
Your information is visible to the leagues you join (leaguemates and operators see what's needed to run play). We use trusted service providers (for example, hosting and email delivery) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers with encryption in transit. Access is restricted and competitive and financial actions are recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure, but we design with least-privilege access and tenant isolation between leagues.
6. Your rights
- Access and update your profile information at any time.
- Request a copy of your data or request deletion of your account.
- When an account is deleted, competitive history may be retained in anonymized form so league records stay intact, with your identity unlinked.
7. Children
RackNight is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). If a league includes minors, additional guardian consent and safeguards apply.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will note the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service.
